Grågård is located on Grågårdevej in Kjellerup, Denmark. Jens Tobias Peder Lassen (b 1802) purchased the farm in 1825. It was to become the home of five generations of Lassens, and the birthplace of Frederik and his brothers. In 2013, Grågård was sold outside the family by Per Lassen (grandson of Frederik's brother Peder). Over the years there have been many modifications to the farm.
