CENSUS 1801 (Gødvad, Viborg S866)1540 age 36.
CENSUS 1834 (Gødvad, Viborg S867)3199 age 68, widowed, living with her children Mette Kirstine and Jens on the family farm.
Still living in Gødvad in CENSUS 1840 age 75, now with her son Jens, his wife Maren Sørensdatter (24) and daughter Cathrine Marie Jensdatter (3). She disappears from the Census in Hids County altogether in 1845 and 1850 and yet there is no death record for her in Gødvad or Balle (checked both male and female, also adjacent parishes). No record of her in the Gødvad Afgangs Liste either, or for anyone anywhere near her age. Apparently she simply “went home.”
She appears to have had a brother, Jens Erichsen (d 4 Apr 1842 Gødvad age 72), married to Inger Jensdatter (d 26 Jan 1840 Gødvad).
No parish records for Gødvad prior to 1790 to search for her birth.
