From Vium at the time of his marriage; lived first in Vium-Lysgaard and later in Ungstrup at the time of the birth of his children.
Christian was trained as a blacksmith and was for a time employed as a blacksmith on “Palstrup” farm. He later had a blacksmith shop in Vium.
He moved with his family to Ungstrup on 18 May 1857. (Thorning Tilgangs Liste 1857 n 23 S7)2426
He moved with his family to Knudstrup on 10 Feb 1866, to a farm there. (Later owners Hans K. Kristensen - P. Gråe).
He lived in later years with his daughter Marie Kathrine and his son-in-law Hans Chr. Rasmussen, in Oustrup, where he died.
