She is the parent of the only Maren Nielsdatter of the right age found in Gjern in 1801 Census. She and her husband were also living in Ellerup at the time of Maren’s birth. 1787 Census says this was the first marriage for both.
1801 Census says it was her husband’s first marriage and her second marriage.
There is a Berthe Nielsdatter born 10 Feb 1768 in Gjern. She is the only Birthe/Berthe born from 1768-1769 in Gjern.
